INTRO TO TAP! with Amanda Austin

The time step, wings, shuffle off to buffalo…those are some of the most common, classic combinations you might hear of when people refer to tap dancing. But in this intro class, we’re going to put our own spin on tap and take traditional moves and mix them with contemporary music! In just six weeks, we’ll learn some of the basic and most popular tap moves you need to become an experienced tapper. The class will culminate in a performance for your friends, families, and maybe Debbie Allen at Block Party on Thursday, August 25th at 10:30PM
Please note: Tap shoes are required! While there are options for used tap shoes, I recommend buying a new pair that can be fitted for your feet. And buying them in person is even better than online.
