ABOUT ABOUT

Breaking Bad [Habits] with Clifton Hall
Friday 3/26 3:00pm - 5:30pm
Open to all improv levels.

This workshop is about the bad improv habits we find ourselves falling into and how to work your way out of them. The workshop focuses on the fundamentals of a solid long form scene with exercises and techniques that help you when you get stuck in an improv rut. Get ready to turn those questions into statements, those strangers into relationships, and all those invisible space work objects into connections to your scene partner as you learn to refocus on the characters in the scene.

Clifton Hall is a stand-up comedian and improvisor who currently resides in Asheville, NC, where he founded the Asheville Improv Collective in 2015. He started performing both stand-up and improv at The Dallas Comedy House and is excited to come back and play on his most favorite stage in the world. You can see Clifton performing both stand-up and with the troupes "Roadside Couch," and "Clearance Shelf" at this year's festival.
