Think you have what it takes to write, shoot, and edit an original short in 24 hours?
Then you and your friends should sign-up for the first annual Dallas Comedy Festival Film Race! Register your team for a chance to win the glory and bragging rights - plus $300 cash prize, (4) All-Access Passes to the 2017 Dallas Comedy Festival, and your film promoted online via Dallas Comedy Festival and Dallas Comedy House.
All registered teams are invited to the kick-off at 11pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 where we will pull a one-word suggestion, a line of dialogue, and an original character to inspire your short. From there, your team has 24 hours to write, shoot, edit, and submit your film.
Films will be screened on Saturday, September 24. Winners will be announced at the screening.
All films must have a total run time of under 5 minutes. Films must be original content and cannot be publically published online prior to the screening. All films must be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] via a private link.
