You've probably heard, "there's no room for judgement in improv." It's true. Judgement can be crippling - even if you don't recognize it. Art is subjective, so judgement isn't logical. In this workshop, we will discuss judgement, tell it to take a hike, and then play in a supportive, judgement-free, environment with like-minded artists.
Kyle Austin, co-founder of Dallas Comedy House, is a seasoned performer and instructor. He has performed at the San Francisco Improv Festival, Dallas Comedy Festival, Improv Festival Oklahoma, and the Megaphone Marathons (Austin/Dallas/New Orleans). He currently coaches the DCH Ewing Troupe Midnight Passion and can be seen performing with Roadside Couch, Please Like Us, On Time Delivery, and Small Town. Kyle has studied improv under some of the best instructors in the world from iO, the Second City, The Annoyance, and The Pit.
