Charactaurs

After two sold-out workshops in 2015 at the Dallas Comedy House, Dallas Comedy Festival is excited to offer Tommy Lee Brown's "Charactaurs" workshop. “Charactaurs” are Characters filtered through Dinosaurs. The object of this workshop is to put improvisors who claim to have a hard time with Characters, through a rigorous energy intensive character workshop. By stretching your “Charactaur” muscles so far, character work seems less daunting and comes more easily. Every exercise will encourage repetition, which will foster comfort and promote support centered reactions rather than fear or panic based choices.
Tommy Lee Brown began his improv journey during his senior year of high school and hasn’t looked back since. He is a graduate of the Dallas Comedy House Training Center and can be seen performing with the troupes Cupcake, f.a.c.e. and Franzia. In addition to performing, Tommy is an instructor for all improv levels at Dallas Comedy House.
